Barefoot Wine River Cleanup
THANKS TO ALL FOR A GREAT EVENT!! The event was a huge success. Our boats and boards were able to get into parts of the river that park rangers said had never been cleaned…we removed dozens of tires, a truck lock-box, highway orange cones, hundreds of bottles, tennis balls, shoes, old style pop-top aluminum cans from the 70′s, and of course tons of plastic…The after-party was a blast too and we signed up a lot of new members. Thanks again to all. Pam Longobardi, Co-Chair, Surfrider Foundation Atlanta Chapter.
